My goal is to find mutually beneficial solutions; facilitate relationship and trust building; and build clients' capacity to negotiate.
Underlying each dispute is an opportunity for growth, innovation and a chance to rebuild relationships.
Understanding disputes involves not only knowing what each party wants, but more importantly, why they want it. To be able to offer more to participants, mediators and negotiators must create more. The ability to create value, which seemingly does not exist, through creative thinking, thereby expanding the amount of value which can be distributed among parties in negotiations. The ability to do this at a preliminary stage (at the bargaining table or in any context involving relationship building), prior to the commencement of litigation proceedings, saves each party money, time and resources.
"Organizations which are successful in implementing this philosophy into their business strategy gain tremendous advantage in today's marketplace. Employees and executives who can mitigate risk and exposure are one step ahead”. - Daniela T. Corapi
